Arsene Wenger Wishes He Had Paul Scholes

“Paul Scholes was, and still is, one of the greatest football players in England. His contribution to the success of Manchester United is huge.”

“He did not get completely what he deserves as a football player, because he is not someone who runs after the media to be in the papers, and I respect that a lot.”

“I would have liked him here. Who would not want Paul Scholes? He is a fantastic player. When he has the ball at his feet and you are a central defender, you have to be on your toes because he can still today find anybody in the box.”

“The regret I have personally is that he was not always the fairest player. There is a little bit of a darker side in him, that he sometimes did things which I did not like.”

I know this was too good to be true when  first heard about what Wenger had to say about Scholes. The voyeur just couldn’t help speaking without taking a little shot. It’s very laughable of him to say that Scholes is not a fair player when his teams have been know for picking up red cards for dirty challenges.

I guess Arsene forgot he had a certain player by the name of Patrick Viera who did almost anything to stop United players anytime we come up against them. A word of advice to the voyeur, if you are going to say anything about any United player it’s either you speak completely on one thing don’t blend anything together.
