UEFA Champions League Group Stages Draw Results (2010/11)

I am pleased with the draw that we got today in Monaco but if i could change a team and replace them with another i would have to choose Valencia. I would replace them with fellow La Liga Real Madrid, seeing the format that two teams from the same country can’t meet in the group stages i couldn’t select Rangers.

My reason for wanting Real Madrid is to come up against Cristiano Ronaldo so we can beat them and show him he should have stayed at Old Trafford.

As for the rest of the draw the two toughest groups this year are without a doubt Group A & G. In my honest opinion Group G should be labeled the group of death and i have a very good reason for this.

All four teams in that group are capable of beating each other and i expect this group will need match day 6 to finalize the standings. Of course Inter Milan are going to be favorites to win the group seeing that they are the defending Champions but being so doesn’t guarantee success.

Champions League Fixtures:
Tue 14 Sep – Rangers (H)
Wed 29 Sep – Valencia (A)
Wed 20 Oct – Bursaspor (H)
Tue 2 Nov – Bursaspor (A)
Wed 24 Nov – Rangers (A)
Tue 7 Dec – Valencia (H)
