…And Then There Was Two

Fernando Torres ended his scoreless drought against West Ham United but Arsene Wenger hopes of ending the Gunners trophyless drought continues. Arsenal’s title hopes took a huge blow when they lost to Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium.

Tamir Cohen’s 90th minute header gave his side all three points, it was a very emotional goal for the Israeli who broke down in tears after removing his jersey to reveal a picture of his late father Avi who had passed away last year in a motorcycle accident.

This loss has all but ended the Gunners title hopes as they are now nine points behind leaders Manchester United with four matches remaining. If the Gunners are to keep alive faint title hopes they’ll have to win their remaining games and hope both Manchester United and Chelsea who’s currently in second place have a few slip ups. The Gunners will welcome Manchester United to the Emirates Stadium next weekend and nothing but all three points will do.
