Gunners Demolish Sorry Rovers At The Emirates

Last season Blackburn Rovers lost 7-1 to Manchester United and allowed Dimitar Berbatov to score a sensational five goals. This season the Rovers found themselves on the receiving end of the same scoreline but this time in hands of Arsenal, there was no five goal scorer today but Robin van Persie did get himself a hat-trick.

Van Persie got the scoring off in the 2nd minute with Theo Walcott providing the assist, Rovers equalized half an hour later through Morten Gamst Pedersen. It was game on at the Emirates, well at-least that’s what the traveling Rovers fans thought.

Arsenal hitman Robin van Persie restored the Gunners one goal lead four minutes later with Walcott being the provider once again. The big Dutchman went from scorer to provider two minutes later by setting up Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with his first goal for the Gunners.
